SPRINGS OF LIVING WATER...

"ENCOUNTER THE WORD"

Romans 15:13

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Paul makes this request of the God of hope, another beautiful name for God. He is the only lasting source of hope we have for meaning in this life, and for a life beyond death. Paul asks that the God of hope fill these believers with all joy and peace "in believing" or as they trust in Him. In other words, Paul is not asking God to simply dump joy and peace into their hearts without cause. He is asking that as these believers trust in God, their faith will bring joy and peace to their hearts. In other words, help them to keep believing so that they can experience joy and peace.

Finally, Paul asks that they might have this joy and peace in believing so that they may abound with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul is asking God to give them more than just regular human hopefulness. He is asking for supernatural, Holy Spirit-powered hopefulness.

What a fantastic prayer to ask God for others or for ourselves. What more could we wish for other believers than to be filled with joy and peace and abounding in hope?

Loving Father,
My heart rejoices as I realise the depth of love You have for me.
You truly are my glorious God of Hope, and I thank You that this is not the doubtful 'hope' of the world, but a definite hope that is securely founded on Your unchangeable Word.
Enable me to share this truth with those with whom I come in contact today, to Your praise and glory.

A WOMEN'S HEART & GOD 

"Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen." ● Ephesians 6:24, KJV 

It is easy to say we love Jesus Christ, but our love must be sincere not simply a word we repeat. Words that we utter as an overflow of what is in our heart are genuine, but it is possible to speak with our lips what our hearts do not truly believe. Life will put our love of Christ to the test and find out if it be genuine or not.

As women, wives and mothers,  it is our job to ensure that the values, principles and edicts given us in tge scripture are taught in the home.  We are the help-mate...the rib of our spouses, the mentors to our children as they mature and the emotional backbone that holds the family together.  We have a special commission as Women of God to take care of our families.   

We should teach God's grace for us through faith and works and inspire our families to live a life accordingly. CHRIST is or should be our first love and as the emotional guide in our homes, we should emulate that loving character to our loved ones as Christ has loved us.

O lover of my soul, 

May my love to you in return be found genuine. 

Help us all in sincere love to you to live out each moment and each day. 

We know that if we love you, we will obey you. Help us obey you from the heart.
