Choose Wisely...✅️❌️

Good morning saints of GOD. JESUS asked this question, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"(Mat.16:26). You can receive all that the world has to offer, money, fame, power, pleasure and prestige etc. But to lose one’s soul, is to die without a right relationship with CHRIST and spend an eternity in HELL.

JESUS was saying that in order to follow CHRIST, they must be willing to deny themselves, take up up the cross and follow HIM. (Mat.16:24). They must be willing to give up everything to follow HIM. YOU can be the richest and most powerful person on the planet but would have made a poor decision by rejecting JESUS.

Sooner or later, the earthly things will dissappear and he would have lost the only part of himself that lasts forever. (Mat.16:27).

There's nothing more valuable than your soul. When he chooses to embrace this world and all it has has to offer and reject JESUS, he forfeits his soul. We are a given a certain amount of time on the earth, don't exchange your time on things that don't matter or even worse, for things that cause you and others great harm. Sometimes the bad bargain you make is so pivotal that it affects the rest of your life and even has eternal consequences. An example of people using their time and making the wrong decisions; a business man trading his time for success, ends up losing his wife and children, a bad bargain.

Everyday people are trading their life, their soul for something. For what? what will you have to show for it? If you trade it in for fleeting pleasures, to gratify your immediate needs, you’ll come up empty. You can gain the whole world but lose your soul. The decisions you make today will either make you or break you.

But if you trade your life for GOD'S ’s kingdom and it's righteousness, to fulfill HIS purpose, you’ll be satisfied with that which no one can take from you.

We all face temptations every day. Everyone of us needs to think carefully about what is really essential in life in light of GOD’S WORD. Why are we living? What are we living for? Are we selling our spiritual birthright, for short-term pleasures just to satisfy our lusts? We only get one shot in the race of life. We need to make sure that we’re not wasting our lives by running in the wrong race. If you’re living for what meets your immediate needs, just using GOD for what HE can do for you, you’ll end up losing the spiritual blessings which count for eternity.

GOD has given man a choice regarding where they will spend eternity, with HIM or in the lake of fire forever. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev.20:10).
