"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." ● Jude 1:25

It is God who is able to keep us from falling away from the faith. It is he who is able to sanctify us and make us ultimately blameless before him. God has not willed for such perfection to come in this life, but he has promised it to us in the next life. The promise of ultimate victory should encourage us to persevere and should drive us to God, the only source of our power for sanctification.

O Lord,

You have given us a sure hope of final and full victory over Satan and indwelling sin.

We look forward to that day with joy.

We rejoice even now over the work you have begun in us.

This hope in us does not lead us to sloth, but it strengthens our souls as we carry our cross.

We pray and give thanks in the mighty name of Jesus...
