Help & Delivery...🕊

Good Morning Family & those MOST Beloved...

Psalms 70: 5 â—Ź "But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O GOD! YOU are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay." David was one of the most righteous and powerful men of his time. In this scripture, David is in trouble, his life is being threatened, he cries out to GOD for help. He is desperate and his circumstances are urgent. He basically wants God, to hurry up and rescue him. He needs immediate help and deliverance from his enemies. David faced a lot of opposition.

David uses this argument that he is poor and needy and pleads with GOD to make haste. He needs divine protection. He prays that GOD will come to deliver him quickly, before his enemies destroy him. He is in a great deal of pain, anxiety and fear. He needs deliverance in a hurry. David's prayer is short, it’s honest and to the point. His confidence lies in his trust in GOD and his faithfulness and obedience to GOD. David's complete dependence was on GOD, as his only deliverer.

If you choose to live for GOD, you too will face alot of opposition like David. Taking a stand for what is right will produce conflict. Sometimes we feel that GOD doesn't move quickly enough for us. The more fear, pain and anxiety we feel, the more earnest our prayers become. We need to pray to GOD in faith believing, that whatever we ask, we will will receive. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them" (Mark 11:24).

GOD'S love for us is unfailing and unconditional. When we seek GOD in faith, HE will come to our aid and deliver us. HE is always faithful to HIS promises. HE sees and knows what we go through. HE cares about us. Trusting GOD, when our suffering is severe, requires us to exercise our faith. We know that GOD does not always alleviate our distress as we wish, or expect from HIM. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are the called according to HIS purpose" (Rom. 8:28). GOD bless you. Have an overcoming Tuesday in JESUS. Shalom!❤❤❤

Dear God,

Our creator and sustainer, help us to turn away from our self-reliance and instead rely on you for everything we need each day.

Remind us especially of our need for your forgiveness and grace, and help us to be thankful that you offer this freely in the death and resurrection of your son.

We pray in our Lord Jesus Christ's name...

Amen 🙏🏾
